NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. Neuro refers to the wiring of our brain, linguistic to communication, and programming to the patterns we are running on. NLP works with the unconscious mind which stores what we have experienced in life and creates our very own model of the world.
Based on these experiences we develop beliefs, behaviours, and patterns. Some of them are outdated and not helpful anymore. With NLP we uncover these blocks, rewire the brain, and build skills and resilience to achieve our desired outcome. NLP creates choice and real, lasting change. Which eveninfluences our body’s biochemistry and epigenetic.
NLP Therapy and psychotherapy often overlap in goals but they differ in approach. NLP is solution focused, aims to help clients change limiting beliefs, habits, or emotional states for long-term results. Psychotherapy is a clinical practice aimed at treating psychological difficulties, mental health conditions and deeper emotional struggles.
You can choose the format that works best for you – geography permitting. I offer secure online sessions for convenience and privacy, as well as in-person sessions for those who prefer face-to-face connection.
The duration varies depending on your goals and situation. Some clients find meaningful change in as little as a handful sessions, while others choose ongoing work over months or even years. We will regularly review progress together so you can decide what feels right for you.
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. What you share stays between us, with a few legal exceptions (such as risk of harm to yourself or others, or legal obligations). These boundaries will be explained clearly in our first session.
The first session is a gentle, structured conversation. We’ll talk about what brings you here, your hopes and goals, and any concerns you have. You’ll also learn how I work, and together we’ll decide on the best next steps for your journey.
